Around Iceland in 10 days
Spring, Summer and Autumn

This tour is for Photographers who want to get the whole Iceland package in ten days and nine nights. Traveling mainly on Route 1 or the Ring Road (Icelandic: Þjóðvegur 1 or Hringvegur) which is a national road in Iceland that runs around the island and connects most of the inhabited parts of the country. The total length of the road is 1,332 kilometres (828 mi) but the average driving is 2.500 km for this trip. Some of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland are on or near the Ring Road. You will see many beautiful waterfalls and rivers, glaciers, icebergs, lava fields, mountains and black sand beaches. You will pass through several National Parks on the route as well as typical Icelandic countryside and seaside villages around Iceland. Also you will spot many species of local or migrating birds as you drive around the country.

Spring: Migratory birds are flocking to Iceland in April-May and the vegetation is starting to turn green again after the winter. The Puffins are busy making their nests. Snow is still in the mountains in the highlands and the glaciers are still white and clean after the winter snow. The high-season in the tourism is not started yet.

Summer: Vegetation is in full bloom, colourful Alaska Lupin flowers and wildflowers can be seen in many places around Iceland. Long days and short nights, with 24 hours of daylight in north Iceland. High-season for tourism.

Autumn: The colours of autumn are taking over and the Northern lights are started to be visible again after the long bright days in the summer. Migratory birds are leaving again, the Puffins are active preparing for leaving Iceland until next spring.
